ShotokanKata - An App to Improve Your Karate
ShotokanKata is an Android app developed by spectra-design.de. It is a free lifestyle app in the sports subcategory. The app is designed to help karate learners to remember the sequence of the kata forms. The app contains three Shôtôkan-Kata and an upgrade to "ShotokanPro" that offers an additional 24 Shôtôkan-Kata.
The app provides a to-do-list that allows you to keep track of the kata forms you studied last, and you can hook a kata off depending on your progress. The portrait mode of the app offers illustrations that can be zoomed in to recognize and study important details. The app also provides you with three different animation speeds and free scrolling to adjust the app to your individual learning progress. Landscape mode offers a view of multiple graphics at one time to follow the sequences. Lastly, the app provides eight freely eligible backgrounds that put you in the right training mood.
